Summary: When I got off the taxi in the quiet, early morning and dragged my suitcase down the steep hills, my very first impression was that the area looked a bit dirty. While waiting after ringing the bell, I felt a mix of anticipation and anxiety. However, the staff's kindness and warm hospitality completely changed my mood for the better. After leaving our luggage and sightseeing downtown, we entered our assigned room. The moment I saw the view outside the window, I realized I didn't need anything else. It was the perfect accommodation. I highly recommend booking a room with a Douro River view.
