Summary: We could not possibly have found lodgings to suit our travel and stay more perfectly. The gite Massabiou provided us with a quiet haven when it was needed, in a typical Provençal village, but with fewer other tourists (in September) to interfere with our enjoyment. The host and property manager were extremely congenial. Twice we were gifted with delicious bread. The kitchen facilities, cooking tools and dinnerware were exceptional; we prepared several very good meals without trouble, even using up some vegetables and other commodities left by a previous guest. Outdoors, we loved the beautiful new swimming pool, fish pond/fountain, gardens, herbs, and furnishings for lounging and dining. Of special note, are the eclectic works of art throughout the house and many good books in the living room. Hope to return….
